Tried that, still saying 'File to big' even with the 160kb bootloader files.

Using XP on this old laptop

ok in the file i loaded up. you will see a dreamup in there. use that

Could it be the USB to Serial cable I am using?

Although it does seem to read it and know it is a DM800

could be. ive heard of this before, do you need drivers for the cable?

Thing is the cable using the USB adaptor has always worked before, no problem with a DM500 and a TM1500 so not sure why not this time

As I said, it does read Box Type as DM800 but as soon as it connects it pops up with

"is not a valid integer value.

and the normal message that should appear (by looking at tutorials) "Box attached and Ready" doesn't apper at all.

Gemini 4.5 worked for me only yesterday after cracking my head for days.

Thanks for that m8, finally got it sorted.

What I had to do was take the laptop and the dreambox over to my router.

Plugged network cable from router into laptop then another cable from router (has 4 sockets) into the DM800.

Afer finding the IP addresses I used the Network method in Dreamup. Flashed it to Gemini 4.5 same as you just to get it going.

Am currently scaning 28.2e for channels.

Next step is to put CCCam on, can you do it via the menus?

@Yeh you can do it through the blue panel > plug-in/addons -> gemini server.

mate, i fid niablo image better the gemini. it has full uk epg on it. i also had issues with cccam on gemini

there a image by nablio called pure flash for clones it has a muiltboot built in to it called meo i use this one with the muilt boot i am running 6 origanal images on usb stick now as you can use these in muilboot you only need a clone image in flash the best image out there is one called newnigma2
