Ok, i have flashed box with Nabilosat II and i have got a EPG on there that she seems pretty much happy with...what i am looking for now is a bouquet for 28.2 only....if at all possible with all channels in seperate categories like comedy, sport, news etc..This will save me hours trying to sort them all out...can anyone point me in the right direction for a bouquet for sky only ??

Would be interested to hear what solution you used for the EPG, mate?

I'm running a 500s (clone) on an old Nabilosat image (V08 Maxvar?). I can only ever get now and next, which isn't great. I'd be very happy with a 1 day guide, so can you point me in the right direction there?

loaded up nilablosat image with the epg.

best epg ive seen for the 500. and it works well.

also used Home (DREAMBOX EPGS) for listings.

(even though one was already posted here)
also some other settings that may prove useful.

As the title suggests i am after a EPG to put on the wifes DM500s...Its only being used for Sly Uk, and its connected to my server..She is doing my bloody head in because there is no EPG...can anyone make a sensible suggestion ?? ( Suggestions for a copy of radio times etc have already been noted ) Thanks

i can get a week on nabilo blackhole on a dm7025 not sure about the dm500 tho

You can get a full 7 day epg with Pli-Jade.

Download SQL lite, and SKY Epg, and away you go. Set it up in the menu.

It works a treat, but only if you have a networked PC for it to download it to.

Yes Sqlite is the best epg for the 500s.
Do you have a 7 day epg on the 500s ?
I set mine to one days epg as I find the limited memory on the 500s struggles to handle larger file sizes.
I have ~170 channels mapped and that gives an epg.dat file of ~2.3Mb.

I have got the wife using week EPG 3.1b.......she accesses this by pressing the yellow button then selecting plugins..I think it uses the memory allocated to the radio player, as when this EPG is being used her Dreambox selects the radio bouquet function, and No tv is available to watch..it seems to work ok, and she is off my case now.. I am wondering if there is some sort of script i can run on my dedicated Debian server, and use this to download and store the listings. The wondering if i can access this with my STB's around the house to get EPG information..

You need to be running a Jade image (it has SQlite built in ) and you need an internet connection to fetch the epg once a day.
