dream box 500s help green light problem

hi all i turned my 500s on tonight and nothin happens just green light stays on help plz

i had same problem,jtag it and should be sorted,do a search how too,plenty of info on this site will be a great help to you.

is that that only way? will have to did my solder iron out is there a good guide anywere on here?

i would first unplug it and then plug it in after about 20 seconds that will sort it if it is just a glitch, if that doesnt sort it a reflash will be needed .obviously as ted said also check all your cables .

If the above dont work mate
Remove the lid ,and check the ribbons havent come loose
They just push on and off
Its a common fault and will leave your Dream without any remote features ......

sorted it!!! flashed with dreamup took 2 attempts but second time worked a charm thanks for all ur help i also as u can c im new to all this i wanted to know dose anybody know the best cccam to install on my box so i can pick up nova sports i want to watch 3pm football matches in the uk i will keep lookin in all other forums thanks again for all ur help

install cccam 2.1.3 and set it as your default cam ,i cant help you any more than that (as talking about cs on the open forum is against forum rules) if you want to learn about cs you will have to google it mate

thanks piopat sorry to ask if i, in the wrong but is there anyway to get 3pm prem football in the uk without cs? my brother has got a spider 7000 bought from sat shop @ ?310 he dont have to pay anythin more and he picks up everything can this b done with a dreambox im also thinking of buyin a 800hd r these any good thanks in advance to anyone who helps me!!!

so your mate after paying ?310 did infact pay for the channels he recieves. i dont want to break any rules or get banned so all i will say is you could buy a dm800 hd for about ?140 online and then pay a guy for the channels which would be about ?110. as far as im aware there is no 3.00pm football on the uk channels so you would need either a motorised dish or a dish with 2 or more lnbs (say one lnb giving you 28 east and the other giving you 13 east) giving you a signal from 2 or more satellites with one dish.

he got a MOTORISED SATELLITE DISH DiSEqC 1.2 MOTOR 0.1 LNB spider 7000 all installed for ?310 should i buy 1 of them or dreambox 800hd? sorry 2 b a pain and he pickes up every channel how much do u think it would cost me for a dreambox 800hd with dish ive looked and just for dish andbox lookin around ?400 thats without install and the other package u no

ah so he got a motorised dish included in the price of ?310 i suppose thats not bad ,personally i think the dreambox is better mate but thats me .your mate is viewing channels through whats called the gift (i cant say anything more than that other than it lasts 12 months) as i say the box plus motorized dish and channels for ?310 is quite good. if your happy with what your mate has get the same as its not a bad price .
