Bouquets & Picons

All,

I have found the latest Bouquets & Picons:

for sly and I wanted to put them on my DM500S which is running Gemini_420_DM500_17122007...

But there are 2 files, so:

1.) Do i need to download both files?
2.) How do i upload/install these on my DM500S
3.) What directory do i need to upload/install them to?

if you just want the channel settings then you only need the bouquets, to load them use dreamboxedit.

What are the picons then? what do they do? Sorry, very new to this...

a picon is a small programme icon of the channel. so when you change channel etc you will see a small picture in the info bar on your screen, depending on the skin your using.

However i have now managed to get the bouquet onto the DM500S, however if i press 101 on the remote, it doesn't take me to BBC one like it does on my sly box. How can i change the channel numbers so they are the same as sly, or am i doing something wrong?

ALso still unable to work out how to get the picons onto the DM500S...

OK,

Just downloaded the lastest Silverfox0786 E1 SD 28.2E 20.01.2011 and opened it in DreamBoxEdit and got the attached error... What am i doing wrong...

OK, so if you press 101 on the control it takes you to BBC1, Like wise 103 it takes you to ITV?

For me to get BBC1 i have to press 1, and 3 to get ITV....

Would like to have the same as Sly, so 101 BBC1, 102 BBC2, 103 ITV, 104 Channel 4, 105 Five etc...

These errors are caused by me ticking the picons box, if i uncheck that box it work fine...

So how do i get the picons on the DM500S

i would transfer them manually. what image are you using ?. i use the openpli image and just replaced the picons i downloaded from their server with the ones by silverfox and they look truly great.
