My white card just updated today using an N line.

AU over CCcam

Many people still use CCcam as client, but unfortunately AU will not work with the CCcam protocol. For AU to work, you should set up OScam and CCcam to use CAMD3 protocol, with an L line in CCcam.cfg. The following is an example of two S02 cards which are updated by a CCcam client through the NewCamd protocol (N Line).




HD+

Unfortunately, OSCam cannot update an HD+ card with a CCcam client, neither by NewCamd, nor by Camd3 protocols. If the server also runs a CCcam server, you can use it as a workaround.
"Direct connection" NOT OK:
CCcam client connected to OScam server through N-line or L-line.
"Indirect" OK:
CCcam client through C-line to CCcam server and CCcam server through N-Line to OSCam

Been trying to read as much as I can on this.

Im most likely totaly wrong here but this is was Im taking from it.

Say a server has been running CCcam for Server and Clients.

Now the server installs Oscam to read the Card then you add a N line to the already created CCcam.cfg.

This then links the two so that Oscam reads the card and passes the info for CCcam to share? Thus clients lines being unchanged.

I have a Dm500s Pli jade3 and I am going to manually add

I have managed to get the channel to clear With oscam on the Dm500s.

Now in the Menu (6) Softcam setup.

I had Cardserver set to OScam and Default SoftCam to 2.1.3 and it wouldnt clear. Only when I removed the default soft cam and just left Cardserver to OScam would it clear is this correct ?

Also I just cant get my 2nd box to clear this channel. I dont know what I am doing wrong.

Can some one take a look at my settings and let me know. As I am at a total loss.



Also in the web IF i could see my box connecting and then it would say connection closed to client.

oscam is the card server and mgcamd (for me anyway) is the softcam

use newcamd as protocol when configured in the oscam config file.

I think you need dvbapi activated for this and that will also AU your card.

I just cant get my head around this! So by adding clients to .users you dont need to do anything to cccam.cfg? I have dm800 blackhole image and have used to addons to download the oscam+cccam2.1.3 but my oscam.conf file doesnt mention cccam? I have this at the bottom:

Straight answers please lads: I am in the process of buying a dreambox from ebay already has pli jade and cccam installed,but seller says i still have to connect a c-line and sub to a card sharer to recieve sly. Do i or don,t i need to pay.
