but some peeps have reported
that to get into [webif]
they used there
dreambox name and password

httpport = 16002
httpuser = root
httppwd = yourdreamboxpass

you need to edit your configs

ln var/tuxbox/config



unzip the file below

put these 3 files ln var/tuxbox/config
- oscam.conf
- oscam.user
- oscam.server



put your boxkey in oscam server file

looks like this

boxid = yourboxid

( boxkey is like this 12345678 and not like this 12 34 56 78 )


put this N line in cccam cfg

N: 127.0.0.1 12000 test1 test2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

restart oscam

thats it

you can log in to oscam via browser

DM IP http://192.168.X.X:8888

httpuser = admin { you can change to what u like in config }
httppwd = admin { restart oscam for change to take }

i have added the files to oscam i have added the n line to cccam

config files for both e1 and e2

i have added the files to oscam i have added the n line to cccam but im not sure about box key my sky card is old and pick tv does not clear

when i insert my DM IP 192.168.xx.xxx:8888 i also get a blank screen if i just insert my DM IP i get the dm web control panel

am i barking up the wrong tree here as it seems this is for people with a new card that are sharing that card or will this sort out my shares i recieve as well

if so how do i get my boxkey from my old card

what card have you got white or old blue card

to get the boxkey for your white card

look on bottom of sly box for serial number 17 digits

input the 17 digits into Dreambox Config Creator

this will generate a boxkey which is 8 digits

like this 12 34 56 78

then put the boxkey in oscam server file

like this 12345678

httpallowed = 192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255

assuming your internal network ip is 192.168.x.x

im no expert on oscam only been using it a few days myself
just passing on what i know

just to verify i have change this in my oscam config

i entered my dreambox ip and restarted cam no joy at all

it goes green as if its cleared but it isnt a i think all others are ok just pick tv

i can confirm that you do not need boxkey for your sly card

to test the webif add the following:
httpallowed = ip address of p.c

the httpallowed setting defines which i.p address can access the oscam webif, it can be a single ip (e.g 192.168.0.3) or a range of ips (e.g 192.168.0.3-192.168.0.50)

ahh so im wasting my time then it is my server who needs to update to oscam and change their configuration not me

i was just wondering also the password bit (it may come in handy in the future) do i need to change that in oscam config to my dreambox password or leave it as admin admin (which used to be the router password) or do i change it to my router password

mine is user admin
and i changed the pass to something different

and i left the port as 8888

i log in ok
