...i uninstalled all oscam and deleted any leftover oscam files in the directories and starting from start...where does the cccam cfg go ??

Hi Davvo ...IT WORKS ..............YOUR A CHAMPION ...i was putting the ccam cfg in the var/tuxbox so as soon as i put it in the etc it worked...... thanks a million mate i owe you a beer...

....one more thing i had to add my boxkey in oscam server file ,then i tried deleting it and ipick tv went black ,put it back again reboot and was working

you dont need a boxkey for that version

if you want to update to the latest oscam

http://download.oscam.to

download oscam unrar it
you will have lots of files look for oscam-svnX-mips-tuxbox thats for DM800
rename it to oscam
ftp to usr/bin overwrite the old one
restart oscam press the blue button then the ok button
thats it

if you want the correct oscam version number to show
when you select your cam
ftp to usr/camscript
look for oscam/cccam script
right click and rename to correct version number
now right click again edit
put the correct version number CAMNAME="Oscamwhatever"
save and exit

thats it you now know how to install and upgrade oscam

I use ICVS image on my dm800 i installed cccam 2.1.3 with oscam 1.00 when I start only oscam then after a few seconds it stops. what could be the problem? when i start cccam/oscam together than will only cccam active
i need your help.

I solved the problem, I have downloaded oscam 5933 bin and put it in my box, now is everything well I clearly had a defect oscam bin in my Box.

Wonder if anyone noticed this or its purley a coincedance.

2 weeks ago or so, an american owned sports channel stopped working for me and OScam was flagging is for no matching reader.

Now I had to end up flashing the box again and afterwards it was then unable to open and read from my reader (dm500)

Swapped the box with a mate as it would work as client fine. So its been happily working away then bang same thing again with same channel.

Maybe I was just unlucky and blew 2 card readers. GOing to try CCam on it when I get home and see if it reads.

this seems like a good place to ask..

I've been trying to get oscam to work.
I installed one of the oscam/cccam packages.. this is on blackhole image.
I just cannot get oscam to work.. I think it's oscam in general.. at least I cannot start the webif, and cannot find any info indicating that oscam is running

cccam is running fine after the install

I checked the conf file.. lan_ip:8888 ..

but nothing...

very frustrating.. I could really use some help on this!

oscam is probably running but both cams are running at the same time and its likely cccam is the one thats actually trying to read your card .i would use dream control center and delete the cccam bin file and the cccam.cfg file then restart oscam and cccam ,then oscam should be running and be able to read your card .you will probably have to re edit the oscam config files after that .
