I'll give him a week. I think that's fair. I don't think everyone should panic and rush to get their money back... Yet.

you cant really open a dispute immediately, as the item was purchased only tuesday. have to give him till the end of the week at least and take it from there i would suggest.
I will wait till saturday before i open a dispute up.Comment

I emailed him last night and still nothing.
Its not looking good,you would think he or she would have emailed everyone concerned by now or replied to emails that have been sent.
Only thing with Paypal waiting but if its a con whats the point as most pay with Paypal.

point seams if his posted as said he would, and paypals asked you to seak a refund , then its best to get the refund and then if the box turns up you can send the seller the money via a gift ? of post them the cash ect ,
if they got the cash out or spent the money in there acount on a few gold rings ect , ie no money in there acount , do you think paypal will pay back the ?7800? and lose ?7800
they cover there selfs in the smal print guys.

Same here,not looking good its just a pain waiting for a refund.Only thing i can see him making on is ppl paying by other methods and taking a chance that way.
If i sold that many i would be breaking my neck to contact ppl.Hes probably breaking his neck on the way to Heathrow.

78 boxes were sold,assume around 62 to individuals buying 1 box each,others bought 2 or 5.
Until a dispute is escalated to a claim PayPal will not get involved,this is why for me I cannot escalate dispute until Tuesday 19th April to allow for late delivery etc.
We do not know how many others filed for PayPal protection so far this enables funds to be locked in his account,not allowing withdrawal until claim is settled,i.e my ?99.99 will be shown as a minus figure to him.
PayPal have taken direct debit payment out of my bank account today.
He still has option of sending out item with any courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery which he can show to PayPal item delivered if ever sent.
He knows my claim is legit & has option anytime to refund the money & not to wait 20+ days if he knows he cannot supply the item at price paid.
He also has option to email me tellling me of any delays he encountered,i.e bad weather in Guandong Province or Kowloon,customs siezure for duty unpaid (VAT).
He should make sure he had items in hand before deciding to sell so many.
He also has option to come to any forum board & state goodwill to supply items to all.Comment
