oscam

try a newer version of oscam

to upgrade oscam
download the version you want from ump2002.net
unzip and you should see all these files (below)
pick the one for your box mine is DM800
SO I USE
oscam-svnX-mips-tuxbox
rename it to oscam
ftp to usr/bin
right click the file click attribute
and click 755
restart oscam

that will upgrade oscam to the version of your choice

now to change the name of oscam version
you have to do it manual
ftp to /usr/camscript
find your oscam
right click the file click rename

example if i was to upgrade to Oscam4856

from Oscam2901

i would rename this

Ncam_Oscam2901_CCcam213.sh

to this
Ncam_Oscam4856_CCcam213.sh

now when you push the blue button it will show the correct version

hi davvo at the moment i have a debain linux pc server and im running newcs to read card with a N:line in cccam and give my family c:lines if i use oscam would i stll beable to give out clines,can i just replace newcs with oscam and keep things the way i have it just now.

problem is all the info is spread over various threads , a simple step by step guide would help massively , if sly going down the picktv road , i can see this issue popping up a lot more in future

if you have a later verision of oscam leave the boxkey bit out

the guide to upgrade oscam to a later verision is in THIS thread

apart from having oscam installed on your box
you dont need anything else

the only thing left to do is DO IT

Didnt think the dreamelite server was running?? so therefor any addons need to be either added manually or downlooad the tunisiasat ipk and use there server for addons?

There is an extra url available for it or as said the tunisiasat ipk will do the job.

Not in the first edition after a while the server was taken offline Later mod was done with extra url for later downloads.

Is there no image with a newer version on CCCAm like 2.1.4 or 2.2.1 + OScam ??

Does 2.1.3 even support auto updates of a 0963 card ? Only advantage of 2.1.3 I can see is the 256 trick to report card as local...otherwise it's an old version..better to use newer versions.
