Ok, but will OSCAM update entitilements automatically using EMMS recieved from CCCam clients.

For example, card is in DM500C (cable version) so no direct satellite feed possible, hence emms to update entitlements are recieved from clients. This could also for example be a linux PC server with external card reader...

This works fine in a pure CCCam environment, just wondering if you use OSCAM as the reader, and CCCam for reshare to Local LAN clients via N line. Will OSCAM still auto update the card entitlements from clients emms recieved via CCCam ??

and have oscam running it will update the entitilements

im no expert on oscam
but what i did do is take a bit of time
to have a read
test what i read
and pass it on
perhaps a few others who have had a read
should chip in and contribute

AU over CCcam

Many people still use CCcam as client, but unfortunately AU will not work with the CCcam protocol. For AU to work, you should set up OScam and CCcam to use CAMD3 protocol, with an L line in CCcam.cfg. The following is an example of two S02 cards which are updated by a CCcam client through the NewCamd protocol (N Line).

Warning: When using the NewCamd protocol, always set AU directed at a reader. Setting "au = 1" will not work properly!

- I will have a play with this when I get a chance, not entirely 100% on how this works, im guessing the CCCam clients that are sending EMMS to the server, need a N line in their CCAM.cfg instead of a C-Line. Then the CCAM.cfg on the server thats talking to OSCAM needs an L-line added, the other CCAM clients can keep the standard C-lines..

this works prefectly

I have a DM 500C with a sly card - only allow one client to update EMM - dont use cccam due to security issue, but use MgCamd - in the oscam users files, I have set on user to allow AU and not others - and this works prefectly. I have a DM500S that updates EMM's.
