oled screen not working - brand new box from china

Did you try and flash a different image?
Dont think i would be sending it back without taking it apart first,

Get a replacement first and try it from here....for less than the price of DHL to China.
Put it in and reflash it and if it doesnt work then send it back.
Youve nothing to loose only ?20 at most,plus your gonna get a replacement anyway.

if the screen is blank on standby can the oled set in the display
same as the 800se. mine was blank untill i went in the menu
set up>system> display set up and then click right on
standby to highlight the bar then the screen showed

No Ive not flashed the box. I opened the receiver, all the cables were connected to the motherboard.

Shall I ask the seller to send a replacement screen? It would be cheaper for the seller instead of paying for return postage then sending the replacement out. (She better cover returns cost otherwise -ve feedback)

check all connections flash with dreamup if screen is still blank e mail the seller see if they will send replacement do not part with your goods until you have it on record that they will replace it , good luck also contact pay pal or you cc company see where you stand

its times like this You generally begin to wish you had bought from the UK. Why not say you will keep the box but want a ?20 refund and purchase the oled from the Uk

Reflash it and get it over with.....get the latest Dream Elite Phoenix Edition image from downloads and see what happens.
No use flapping on here and nothing being done to the box.
Exhaust every possibility THEN send it back

similar problem

I tried using dreamup version 1331 and 1339. It stops at checking sum and with ver1339 it does not even get to the flash level. The Oled display is blank, cannot flash from browser. Is there a suitable dreamup version that can help in reflashing the box?
My clone DM800hd box is called Masterbox.
