    No , You will need a 3g router , then connect the 3g router to dm800

        I used my iphone as a 3g modem once and it was too laggy for NDS

          you need to use a router like the tp-link 3240/3220 i use one and find it as good as ,u just need to make sure you are getting a good signal from the sim dongle so you may be better with an unlocked dongle and try different sims till you get the strongest signal and you are good to go

            Would you say its as good as normal broadband?

              The mileage you will get using 3G will vary considerably depending on your location and what other people using the same cell are doing. Generally, the mobile operators tend to allocate only a relatively small amount of bandwidth between ALL users on the cell. This may give you the situation where things apparently work well most of the time but occasionally you get glitching (or nothing at all) whilst somebody else is downloading something large. If a lot of people in your area are using 3G dongles then chances are anything requiring timely response will not function properly !

                I presume most people wanting to use these are in rural areas anyhow . Therefore less likely to encounter the scenario the coder posted as much less inhabitants out in the sticks
