HELP please guys with dreambox HD800 lost Sky Sports

Hi Southpaw,

Yeah i agree with you i don't think it is image related as every other channel is working with no problems, Basically it is only Sky Sports channels on both standard definition and HD that are affected, I'm getting a signal no problem of 85% SNR on these channels and get the channel infobar at the bottom with provider info etc but no picture just a black screen.

I have reloaded the bouquets and done an automatic scan on astra 28.2 but still the same problem, i'm beginning to pull my hair out now, ohh also contacted my CS supplier and confirms they are working which i suspected anyway as the movies etc are working fine.

any Help appreciated

go to the problem channel , blank screen , then press blue button
it should tell you if your cccam is running and the server details etc , try restarting the cccam from here

not sure with your image , but wonder if the camm isnt installed on them channels , ie you have turned off . u can do then on pli image but not sure on your .. someone else might know ..

Yeah already done that m8, the Cam is running says cccam 2.2.1 started, done a restart on Sky sports1, have compared it Sky Sports News which i can receive ok and the settings/info all look the same.

Can you get a free 24 hour test line from another provider, as I would guess its your share that's the issue

Mate as been mentioned i suggest you contact your provider now.

It does not appear to be your image as the issue is only sky sports 1-4 and you have not stated any other issues, it does not seem to be your cccam as you have restarted it, it does not appear to be your bouquets as you have updated them, it does not appear to be tuner or receiver related as there is no issues with any other channels.

Contact your provider, or as someone mentioned above try a free test line from another provider and then if the sky sports channels are working that narrows it exactly down to your provider.

My Supplier has just returned my email and have stated there updating there servers and sports channels are affected and wont be back on until later today......
I will let you know later if they are back on.

Andy did you get your SS channels back in the end? I think I'm having the same problem your server is having in that all my other paid for channels work on my subbed card in a 500S, but SS1-4 don't clear. I've had to dig my old Sky box out of the loft - the horror!
