    Vonets Wifi Bride, no internet

Got one of these working with my xbox and PC

As soon as i try it on my DM80 theres no internet and dodgy LAN, when i do a network test everything is ok apart from IP Address and Nameserver, theyre unconfirmed.

Possibly the usb is supplying enough power as ive seen this can be an issue.

The DM800 is closer than both the Xbox and PC btw, so signal strength shouldnt be an issue.

Looks like its not joining the network.

    TIA.

Thats because your ip address and nameserver are wrong.
The nameserver should be the same as your router and the ip address of the dreambox should be the same barring the last digit or digits, whats the router you are using?
If you have several wifi products in the house its better to have a static dreambox ip and set dhcp as disabled.
Then choose a big digit at end of ip to stop any ip conflicts.

Edit them in the dreambox networks test section then?

Look how mine looks in network.
In nameserver put your router ip address.
Look how dreambox ip ends in .100 Ive made this a big number on purpose but the rest of the ip is the same as the router barring the last .100.
Have dhcp disabled aand reboot, should work fine.
Gateway and nameserver are the routers ip address.
Another option is to enable dhcp but this assigns the box an ip,i dont like it cos of ip conflict in my house.

          Hi,
Also the best way to use this bridge with a dm800 is to not use the usb,put the power feed of the dm directly into the bridge.
Then put the power lead of the bridge into the dreambox.
