Mytube no longer working on Pheonix image.

Mytube plugin has stopped working on my 800pro, I am using the dream elite pheonix edition. I have now reflashed the same image but with latest bootloader due to another reason but the Mytube player still does not work.

It will let me search youtube but when selecting a video in comes up that the video cannot be played.

Is there anyway of fixing this issue?

I was using the same image and had the same problem. I tried all the suggestion that where posted about the internet , but no joy. I changed to the latest (beta) open PLi image, and MYtube works perfectly. It's also a very good image, I'm glad i swoped!!

Any decent skin for openpli as i am using army ghost hd on pheonix and like that sort of look and the menus and so on so wouldnt want to change it unless i could get something very similar. Also just trieda few other images the other day there and couldnt install cccam and installed it through tspanel but then it wouldnt show under cam settings and also couldnt find it when i ftp to the receiver.

I think if you download tspanel there is a plug in thats sorts your problem out and you can keep same image.

Hi, if you go here this is the answer you need. sorry I dont use mytube but my mate had same problem followed this and is now sorted.

unzip file.

FTP to box and go to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/

Delete the mytube folder, restart engima2

ftp this file to /tmp and then do a manual install ipk file.

Restart enigma2.

worked for me on phoenix2

This got my mytube working when i installed it,
It didnt work before i downloaded it on my Dreamelite image.

I think you must be unlucky
I get that now and then but only on the odd one.

working now m8 with marks plug in above , works ace but how do u get keyboard to work to search ? says blue button but does nothing ? cheers

Takes a bit of getting used to,i think if it dont work press exit and it says 3, No,but switch to video search then the keyboard search works.
