      Hello,

When trying to run the Sunray flashup - it uploads the image and says "upload completed, waiting for acknowledge..." nothing more happens. no ipadress for the dreambox or anything (SOLVED)
      Here is what i did:
instead of using the sunray flashup program I used dreambox's DreamUp program (http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/en...ashing-dreamup)

Have got the same problem again. Last time I fixed it using sunray, but this time I can`t do it.
Difference is, the box is a friends and he crashed it at his, and I don`t know what the ip address is, I have tried using DCC whilst connected to the router, but no joy.
I`ve tried a number of different ip addresses for the box but nothing it just keeps waiting for acknowledgement after it uploads.
          Any ideas ?

              Download

              1 Sunray -Flashup for 800hdse

2 -- Because sometimes a patched image will not do the trick, i did chose for this manual the factory loaded image and the correct SSL82 for this box

1--- Connect USB cable to service slot on DM800SE/DM500HD and USB slot on Pc. Windows will then install the driver

You will notice, windows created a virtual Com Port connection to be be used ( in this case Com Port 4)

2 --- Switch Receiver off and connect Network cable Receiver and Router

3 --- Then Start SunRay- FlashUp, Tick Use Network, Fill the relevant boxes with local pc IP and Romote ip of your choose and click Connect.

Program will ask for you to Switch on the receiver.

4 -- It will then go into HTTP mode

5 -- At this stage, you open your browser and insert the romote IP shown on the 800LCD

Page will open as per bellow and then you chose the option Update Firmware.

6 --- Click Browse and navigate to your image

7 --- Chose the image and click Open

8 --- Now click Flash button

9 --- Image will start to

10 --- When it finishes you can click the back button of your browser so we can then send in the bl82 do not reboot

11 Browse and select the SSL82 for your DM800SE Clone

12 --- Once again Click Flash

13 -- After finishing click Reboot. In Most case you will need to do so manually

Box will then reboot and come back to life with image we chose to load. Then you can load your Patched image of your coice as box is functional again
I have a DM800HD which I got from topboxes - I reset and tried to flash a new image because I did not have the user name or password - it reset okay, but when I tried to flash the image I got the dreaded error message - I have tried the dream up option, but it hasn't worked, does anyone know if the above will work?

                    Hi,

There are number of threads on here regarding that error message, including this one -
                    DM800 Fix: No CA Error

It might be useful to state how this message came about (the majority of times it is due to an image that is incorrect for your box being flashed to it.

there are plenty of threads as others have said.

you will need sunray to flash the 800se and not dreamup....also a mini usb cable like the ps3 controller or like many mobile phone charger leads.

Thanks! I flashed the latest OpenPLI and it screwed up my box, wouldn't even boot into recovery for the firmware upgrade.
This worked great. I just connected to the box, Reflashed with my NFI through sunray flasher. And it worked!.. Also Just use the PS3 charging cable!!.. no need to buy anything extra!!

                        Thanks!!

                          Hi Mate,

I have gone through every single method to solve the error R01:NO CA FOUND. I tried sunray method by installing the drivers....but neither sunray nor dreamup seems to sync with the 800se. I have tried using both com ports that show up in sunray and dreamup 3 and 4 without any luck....I have been trying to solve this from the last 3-4 hours and now just have given up.

Please kindly help me if you can?

                          Thanks

                          Kami

the clone with mini flash button at back is great, no need for mini usb or com null modem, dont even need to move box, as long its connected to router, just hold mini flash button , plug in power , and thats it you get ip address and can flash image again love the dm800se clone
