considering a dm800se, got lots of questions....

Some images don't include the bootloader, but generally most pre patched images do. If the image name contains details of the SSL then it will be patched and ready to go.

eg. Witchys_Image_SSL84.nfi would have the 84th second stage loader and would be fine to flash directly. If not then you would need to download the SSL84 separately and flash it to the box immediately after flashing the image - before rebooting, otherwise you'd get a CA ERROR.

if u needed to flash the second stage bootloader...then you close your browser after image flash finishes and open a new browser and flash the bootloader just like you would do an image. then reboot.

i'd do a nice backup image if i knew what to do it with ...barry allen was crap as i have tried a few different images and always get ca error after flashing the image....ts panel...makes backup of 0mb. ....so when i do i will

Try GP2 FlashBackup.

I had the same problems as you with both those other tools, GP2 FlashBackup worked 1st time.
