If you send over catseyes settings using dreamboxedit you wont need to scan, (see stickys) also the tuner needs configuring before anything

hey peeps, the default image on the dm800se is the allrussian image, i thought before i flash another image on the box i'll just try and scan some channels to see if all is ok.
btw before i disconnected the dm500s i had 95%snr and 90%agc on bbc world news 0.8w thor.

anyways i've sent over catseyes via dreamboxedit,
i have the sat facing thor 0.8w,
i went onto the channel bbc world news,
and im getting this message
'service unable check tuner configuration!'

i've done stage 1 of the above tutorial,
i've made sure its on thor 0.8w diseqc 1.2, lnb1 and lof as univeral lnb,
under advanced settings,
but on stage two in the allrussian image im going to
setup/service searching/satfinder but cant seem to lock.

its a bit odd,
one min it showed at 100% but didnt lock,
the next min it went to 0%, wtf

am i wasting my time with this image?
shall i just flash dream elite?

p.s on bbc world news it says snr n/a ber n/a

peeps, i just wanted to ask,
i've downloaded tspanel.
tranfered it over via dcc,
it all went through no problems, rebooted box,
i've put crossepg on,
i can see it has updated the epg but,
i can only see epg for a single channel,
or for the now and next option,
i cant figure out how to see epg for all channels in a row like table context?
i that makes sense

try press blue button (popup should come up , select full epg)

if i press blue once it goes to dream elite manager screen,
if i hold down blue for longer i get download add ons page,
doent seem to come on!
bit baffled here
