No.. Looks like i am missing a driver for the tuner. I've tried two different pp images but none of them has worked.

Where can I find the reading drivers app? Will this solve that my dm800se doesn't find the tuner?

I have now tried a number of different images and none of them work. The tuner is properly connected in the socket. Previously I had the tuner working on the initial image that came with the dreambox, but after flashing it can not be found.. please help..

i cleared a empty tuner problem using the sunray dreamup
with both the cat5 and the a/b usb cable connected to the service
port on the box,after it connected and uploaded from the box i clicked
the flash button on the loader then loaded the image that way then i re booted the box from the switch on the rear after the image had fully loaded

the problem is not flashing, that goes alright. But no matter what image I flash, the tuner can not be found.

Having the same problem but I am at work at the moment and can not try and resolve.

Try this

This worked for me i removed the screws that was holding the the box cover on and reseated the tuner

I have tried simple, intermediate and expert settings (customize), but that does not change anything.

once you change to simple and set the frequency you should then be able to scan. Are you on 28.2. If you are still having problems I can send you a copy of my image.
