Im confused, what image can i use?

make sure its connected to router and the router is set to dhcp so that it will give you an ip address

I'm also looking for a good working image for dm800 hd. Had an old gemini2 image installed but it was not stable at all. So I'm trying to find a new stable image (Gemini or something else) that supports the use of key sharing (e.g. with Emus like CCamd). What is the best image for the dm800 hd?

setting for this image for a newbie

ive now got it going.i needed to have it wiered.i was trying to flash with wifi.someone said try with the ethernet and i managed to see my ip and load image.thanks for your time everyone who commented.only problem now is ive managed to do a scan for channels and that part is ok but when i try to watch a channel it tells me that their is no service available.im a bit of a NEWBIE.ive managed to setup my 28.2 astra sat but still no sevice available.

Can someone please give be a guide on what settings and what i should have them on to be able to watch the channels with this image as its telling me no service available even thow i done a channel scan.

Search dreamboxedit and.sgtflipflops bouquets mate

to the newbies , for scanning/organising channels , you dont need to scan , just download settings from tspanel (tspanel is all you will need for getting the most out your enigma2 box) http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...4/index10.html

SGTFlipFlops settings are perfect for skyuk (single is skyuk only , multi is for motorised systems) , this will present your channels in fully organised groups , kids,sport,docu etc

if its the image bh then the cam is in stalled you need to add the cfg file to /etc/

yes its that image.other image i have had the cfg file has been their already.so basicly i get a cfg file and put it in /etc folder?.

i notice that the channels i have are not the same channel numbers as sky(any idea how to fix.also do you have a good Bouquet i can use or maybe point me where to get a decent 1.thanking u very much for your time Rod

I think if you wanted the same numbering as sky its more hassle than its worth.

I use sgt flip flop who puts a lot of work in to updating his channel list and is really good and well laid out.

TBH using them there is no need for channel numbering.

List here use in conjunction with dbedit.
