Hi it cost around ?15 to send back, so far the post company have tried to delivery twice and failed twice! They say if they cant deliver the will return to me! Great help not! So I am stuck at the moment. I paid with credit card so this might be an avenue to go down to recover cost?? thanks

I also hope Ruby lives up to her words.

I ordered from the company that Tony works for and have had nothing but problems, ordered back in December and they've still not sorted things out for me. Just keep on giving me the run around, latest is they've posted the parts I need now twice, been given tracking numbers which don't track and I've received nothing.

For me that's Tony and that associated company are definitely off my list, think I'll give Ruby a try next.

Jesus and I thought Ruby was one of the good guys, here's hoping it's just a simple clerical mistake.

Im confused. You said you had ordered from the company that Tony works for.. thats Yaoxcin. Ruby doesn't work for them.. You said that you had sent it back to Ruby.. Im super confused now..

Ive never had a problem with Tonys, Tina and co. Had many a box from them with no problem until yesterday when I recieved a dead dm800. Gotta send it back now, what a pain in the ass it is to send back grr!

This is when it all goes wrong, I've never ever had a problem with Tony and co which is why I kept on using them, things went pear shaped with my last order but some bully bot tactics and threats sorted that out for me luckily but it's still put me off from either using or recommending them now.

I think I helped to throw this thread off at a tangent, the OP mentions Ruby is his first post, it was me that had problems with Yaoxin.

                      Ahh right my bad!

Hope I dont have any problems with Tony. My box wont give me an IP to flash it after the standard holding down the button at the front procedure. The display is unreadable and all over the place via the scart and dvi, and to top it off the IR sensor is not working. Never had a problem with them before so giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping to get it replaced. Only problem is sending it back is going to cost me about 40quid, and Tony is asking me to try this that and the other first.. Ive had about 30 from them so far and no my way around them inside and out - this one is gone beyond any kind of repair. The only downfalls of ordering from China is repair or replacement in this exact circumstance.. damn!

If you have a spare/same box then have you tried swapping over the front panels, could just be that that's dodgy in which case could get them to send out a new front panel, would save you posting the box back.

I get that bit for the IR sensor, but how would that fix the no display on the TV and ethernet port? I think the thing is dead in the water, Ive spent enough time messing about with it now - its going back! haha
