Faulty DM800hd se ? please help

Hi all , im quite good at reflashing dm800 and dm800se , and also from na ca error etc, but i have this one DM800hd Se latest with mini flash,

ok with noting connected just power when you switch on it will give IP address on front oled screen , even though no network cable connected, then comes up Dream loading, but noting on screen,

reflashing holding the front power button, just gives same IP address even if no network cable connected,

so tried the mini flash at back, that says na ca or second flash failed then give same IP address as it always does, wont connect,

then tried Sunray Flasher, which seems to work and lets me flash via browser everthing seems fine goes to 100% and done, but once reboot, still same just gives exact same IP address as it always does, strange that sunray flasher worked and let me flash image but doesnt seem to do anything,

I have taken out tuner, cleaned sim card, does this look faulty ?

    Thanks

Hi lombard. I have a800pro that has similar issues, and it will not work with a image larger than 43mb. The problem with mine is damaged flash memory (bad sectors).
Might be worth a try, flash a clean pli or merlin, see how it goes.

Hi, i tried a few images, even small 40mb ones ,still same, its weird that sunray flash lets me flash it fine no problem, but always just stuck when booting box, IP address on front oled screen, even though no network cable attached, just think board must be faulty

hi, ya but that got noting to do with it, i like i said, box not connected to any network by cable, and when putting on, gives IP address on oled , how can it give IP address when it aint even connected to router,

only way it seems to flash fine, is via sunray flasher, which does everything spot on, seems like image is flashed, but noting on reboot, just stuck on same IP address number,

try flashing with a bootloader first, then flash via the browser.

Have you got a HDD and/or usb stick installed, if so remove them, see if that helps.
Bit odd, with it displaying ip addy though!

if its getting to the **STOP** and giving an ip address, then its booting at least there are options to boot from usb drive and such try flashing with someone elses backup merely to see if it will boot.

                  Which dm800se is it?

Are you using a cross over lead?
I had the same problem until I used the above, then it sorted it out for me
