800HD se clone only getting FTA

    Hi Folks,

I've just setup my 800hd se clone trying every guide available on the net, I've tried several images but I can only seem to pull in FTA channels.

My tuner seems to be setup ok, when I do a scan it only picks up the 400 odd FTA channels, if I load SGTflipflops bouquets I get the full list but I get a 'tune failed' message on any non FTA channels.

I'm currently running cccam 2.2.1 (also tried 2.3.0) using a 24hr test cline.

on these channels SNR is at 0.00db and ACC around 20%, on a FTA its showing as SNR: 14db and ACC around 20% also.

Anyone have any ideas what I might have missed or does it just sound like a naff cline?

    Thanks

      Code:
      Server connections: 1
      +----------------------------+------------+---------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
      | Host | Connected | Type | Version| NodeID | Cards | CAID/Idents |
      +----------------------------+------------+---------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
      |the.servername.tv:12000|00d 00:00:27|CCcam-s2s|2.1.3 |e971b2fd8371c252| 1 | |
      +----------------------------+------------+---------+--------+----------------+-------+-------------------------------+
seems to be connecting ok (done this just after a reboot). When I go into satfinder it's always on manual transponder and the signals are rubbish, if I switch to predefined I get a lock and strong numbers but there's no option to save this anywhere.

just tried that with the A/B.

              Port A is: 28.2E Eutelsat 28A & Astra 1N/2A/2B

What do you have listed under Port B? If I put the same as above for Port B I get the same results (Tune failed!).

yeah I have an up to date list from here:

All channels are listed but only the FTA ones work, if I remove these and do a scan, it will only then show FTA.

if l turn the camm off l still get snr 100% so l would think its down to your tuner settings or dish setting

Could you possibly provide your satfinder manual settings?

I'm getting high SNR/AGC when I set it to 'predefined transponder' but it doesn't seem to stick with this setting and always falls back to manual.

I had this problem once and it did my head in too. I think this I solved it by doing the following.

                              1. Install an image
                              2. Do the basic setup, but when it asks you if you want to scan now, say no and finish the set up (IT IS IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT SCAN AT THIS STAGE)
                              3. Install the CCcam (I use 2.3.0) and then put the correct setting in your CCcam.cfg file.
                              4. Transfer over the the Sgt Flip Flop Bouquet.
                              5. Then Check the the tuner is set up properly as you mentioned above (you don't need disque A B)
                              6. Then at this stage do a scan, you should get 900+ channel.

This worked for me, when I had the same problem. It was also doing my head in.

I used the Open PLi image, Which I think is brilliant. Try that, but when I installed the CCcam file I downloaded it from the plugin menu.

Hope that help, let me know how you get on.
