flashed wrong image

hi BD,i used this instead of dreamup to fix my box of software problem ...greenscreen...using null cable? but it said it fixed it, so then i plugged back in and the same image was there yet still got greenscreen after couple of minutes ...i then web flashed another image and got green straight away...my box is a dm800hd pvr on sim201 , 84b any ideas? cheers micky

Did you choose the correct bootloader for your box. I've used this a few times and never had any problems mate. When it repairs it flash it via browser.

yeh, think I used bulldogs method too, was a while ago but think it stuck on "calculating checksum" but was still able to flash via usual browser method

If your box is accepting the image and is correct image, chances are you got a hardware issue thats causing the green screen,

Take box apart and check connections ie tuner etc

Ok pal I will check tommoz when home, thought I sorted it earlier look stable until scanning then green screen again...

Yeh bd I flashed ssl84b first as well and then image,seems to go off on scan, the Ethernet loses connection then green screen shite!

Could be a tuner issue. Ive just had to change mine

Try booting it up without ethernet connected. Dont scan see how long it lasts.

If lasts a while then scan or try sending catseyes over to the box and see if you can get BBC1 or any other FTA channels

And my REV M tuner was ?30 from ebay.

Thanks for this forum. I also have the same problem, but i can connect dreamup with my dreambox. But when i flash with some images, it will not boot up but NO CA CARD FOUND. Please which one is the best image for DM800HD PVR sim 2.01 and how do I know the ssl?

are you using a patched dreamup loader panel?
if not you can download one from this link to clear your box
