    Can you elaborate a bit, I have an 800se clone, over 12 month old, cost today is about 120, if you can find a product for the same price with the same quality and support i would love to hear,
    To the op, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the latest se clones and they perform just like a genuine dreambox if you get the latest a8p sim ,
    If the clone makers could nail the v-u range as they have the s-e I would be all over it, however they seem quite unreliable, hence you get the clone knockers who label all clones with a blanket philosophy of "cheap tat ",
    That's my take on it, prob some will agree while others will say i am talking gibberish!

      Think I might stick to the dm800se with a8p can I ask though what is the sims function?

        Protection: as what sim you buy Ferrari,Sim2 etc... determines what images can be loaded to the receiver A8P allows you to load original images
