    Tuner Configuration Problem

    Hey guys.

    I am very new to this, so having a little bit of trouble.

    I installed the Dreambox yesterday and I was very happy watching TV all night, it worked perfectly.

    I have come to it today, and it is now coming up with the error message "Service Unvailable, Check Tuner Configuration". I have checked the tuner configuration but I am not really sure what I am looking for. Could someone help me please?

    i scan 13.0 hotbird and 28.2 but if it was working fine last night could it not be the wind or something moving the dish?

      On Choose Tuner it is reading...
      Tuner A: Alps BSBE2 (DVB-S2)
      Advanced

      I select that Tuner and it then gives me the option of "Advanced", "Simple", or "Nothing Connected" in the Configuration Mode.

      Im guessing I need to choose Advanced? In the Satellite Option, I can choose between All Satellites 1, All Satellites 2, All Satellites 3, or All Satellites 4.

      This has confused me because on my guide it shows the following...

      Select the Menu button on the Remote Select Setup, Service Searching, Tuner Configuration
      TUNE = manual
      Transponder Satellite = Astra2 / Eurobird 1(28.2E)
      System = DVB-S
      Frequency =- 11836
      TUNE = manual Transponder
      Satellite = Astra2 / Eurobird 1(28.2E)
      System = DVB-S
      Frequency =- 11836
      Inversion = Auto
      Symbol Rate = 27500
      Polarity = Horizontal
      FEC = Auto
      Transport Stream = 07d4
      Sat Position = 282
      Flags = 1
      Transponder modulation = 1
      System = 0

      Tuner A:
      BCM7356 DVB-S2 NIM (internal) (DVB-S2)

      Tuner B:
      BCM7356 DVB-S2 NIM (internal) (DVB-S2)

      Configuration mode = Advanced
      LNB = LNB2
      Priority = Auto
      LOF = Universal LNB
      Voltage Mode = Polarization
      Increased Volrtage = NO
      Tone Mode = Band
      Diseqc mode = None
      Tone amplitude = 800 mv

      Weather hasn't been that bad.

          I have chosen simple config mode, and satellite is only showing "nothing connected".

              Rebooted, and its still saying "nothing connected". The box/cables etc haven't been touched since yesterday when I set it up.

                    I was thinking that but the weather hasn't been that bad where I am. In the 15 years we've had a dish, we've never had a problem with it moving in bad weather. It is placed in an area where the wind can't really affect it.

                        I have just tried my old fta box from my bedroom and it is working fine, so I don't think it is the dish. I am losing the will to live

                          Hi I got the same problem and I get the same response (no channels found), and I got another box that plays very well, I wonder if it could be the sim card faulty as I had the box recently, any help will be appreciated thanks
