Hi guys I no the dreambox being hardwired to internet is best or the option to use home plugs, but does anyone use the WiFi on the 800se ? And if so is it stable enough or should I purchase the homeplugs

i believe it speaks to your network over wifi mate, then has an input port (ethernet) for connecting a device directly wired , obviously its connecting to your router over wifi tho.
dont own one btw, just looked at specs and assume the above

only need one unit , sync with your router then put anywhere in your home , best place in a poor wifi area , if you want theres a port to hotwire to dreambox aswell and still boosts wifi around your home

Ordered the same one on eBay for ?9 wil see how it does, i could also do with a boost of WiFi for the upstairs anyway.

If you have an old router you may be able to achieve the same by running it in repeater mode, with the added benefit of probably 4 Ethernet ports to hard wire into, most newer routers are capable of repeater mode
