Dreambox 800 clone problem

I really hope someone can help me with this problem as im really stuck now and possibly out of pocket.
I bought 3 x 800 clone dreamboxes from china of which 2 were definetly bootloader 75 but im not sure about the third one, anyway to cut along story short i flashed two of them with sim201e-75-Dream-Elite Black Hole_13-OE1.6 and everything is ok but the third one is now just saying dream multimedia on the display and nothing else.
I can only connect to it using dreamup via serial cable and obviously this takes over an hour.
I have contacted the supplier and they have told me they should all be bootloader 75 but it is possible it could have been 72.
is there any way to fix this now as i tried to flash it but its still the same..
Is there any way i can find out the bootloader?

try flashing an image with bootloader 72

hi thanks for the reply i have tried that image but it is still the same. How do i flash just the bootloader and am i likely to damage the box completely by keep flashing it?

forget that i have just found how to flash the bootloader. Will i damage the box further by flashing the wrong loader?

try forcing flash with dreamup , same procedure as fault "c a error"

try this it,s a second stage bootloader 72 with nfi extension
try flash this with dreamup
then the image after

ok thanks for all your help i will give it ago, but what happens if it was bootloader 75 will this kill the box.
Also it doesn't come up with any errors just says dream multimedia.

if it suposed to be bootloader 75 sim
any older ones are ok to flash

For accademical reasons i make this post.

If you were to flash a image which is for an above bootloader, i simple reflash of the correct image using DreamUp will resolve all problems.

finally fixed it it was 72 after all but it has taken 6 flashes to finally get it working, i appreciate the replies and the helpful advice thanks

This How to find out What your second stage bootloader is.
Telnet to your box.
Login
Then type this.
'ipkg list'
Now scroll up to results for d. Here you will see something like this.
Dreambox secondstage And the bootloader will be there.
