thank you so much. couple of questions just to make sure

- Regarding dream multimedia original firmware, will be able to install CCcam on it?

- Is this the original DreamElite image Dream Elite BH 1.3.3 OE1.6 DM800 Multiboot ? its the only one i can find there.

never mind the above post. I have managed to install original Dream Elite BH 133D on my clone box and upgraded the drivers successfully .. thanks alot

I tried this bl76a update and i updated and tried flashing dreamelite 1.3.3 direct from dreamelite forum but it never worked got no ca so i flashed the reinhammer version back

did you put the 76a over the top of 1.3.3 ?
each time you flash , you need to apply the 76a ontop off the image

No i done 76a a first then the image..!!

so you say do image first it will then say no ca then flash the 76a and it works..?

the patch needs applying ontop of every flash mate ,
dont reboot , after flashing image, just open a 2nd window and type ip addy and then flash the 76a

works 100% with 1.3.3


1 flash genuine image of choice
2 after image has flashed (dont hit reboot) open 2nd browser window with dm i-p address
3 flash the 76a file . reboot box and good to go
dont give your box a chance to report no CA errror , just put the 76a in before you do anythin with the box

Really wanna give this a go but I've broken my remote and use the web-remote to change channels.

If I flash new images onto the box will I 100% need the original remote because of the A/V settings etc..

Not too sure mate , but to be on the safe side i would leave this until you get your hands on a new remote

Cheers m8, but I wasn't planning on getting a new one - it's so easy changing channel from the laptop.

However, I'm also a sucker for making sure I have the latest firmware on everything I have. Looks like I'm going to be getting a remote soon.

You Scottish by any chance , that would do my heed in , no remote .Come on lad dig deep , down the back of the sofa usually good for a couple of quid .
If you have managed to flash in the past with no remote , then i dont see any reason why this wont be the same , Just assumed you would be gettin a new remote

Just found one on fleabay for about 7.50 so ill get one pretty soon.

Only flashed 800 when I first had it (and had a remote). Put DEBH straight on it and I'm pretty behind on this firmware now.

I don't wanna risk not being able to use my baby if I can't get past the initial setup .

If your putting genuine dreamelite.b.h. 1.3.3 in , then youtube not working , to combat this

download files from here zSHARE - youtube.zip

There is a bug on Dream-Elite for mytube so :
With ftp client go to :
usr/lib/Enigma2/python/Plugins/Extension ... here
remove the folder " MyTube "
after ... unzip the folder that i posted here and copy
all 4 files on /tmp directory on your dreambox, afterwards
with telnet type :
# cd /tmp
# ipkg install *.ipk
# reboot
..after reboot you must see in Plugins "YouTubePlyers" and youtube works great

thanks alot.. youtube hangs when i run it and i have to kill the box to get it rebooted. i will try this fix
