I own a dm800 clone (newdvb) (sim 2.01, #76) and tried to flash the gemini 5.1 image, then the patch (#76a), than I did a reset.

All worked well until I tried to install a plugin (software management -> manage extentions) then the dreambox is stuck on a green screen and reboots.

Tried another time -> again green screen, tried to flash the image again -> again green screen when using the "manage extentions".

Someone got an fix / solution for this? I'd like to install some plugins e.g. the youtube plugin.

same issues you guys getting reported on another forum , (green screen on plugins ) however one bloke reckons works 100%

sorry mate , but cant get any other advice regarding this issue , bear in mind this is still beta stage , so maybe sensible to leave for a while and i will update this thread when official release (or workaround) is out

Using this on Dream Elite 133D worked at beginning. Then the box started to flick (even during booting). I have tried the box in two different locations where I never had this issue before,, same flicking issue.
I reimaged Dream Elite patched 1.3 which I used to use before with no problems at all.

Hi All , sim 201 team , who aint been doing alot lately , have just released a gem , we are now able to use original images in clone boxes

Flash any original image with bl76 (do not reboot) and then flash the patched bl76a and the image is ok ,

confirmed working 100% on DreamElite BH 1.3.3D , will report when other images are tested

for those using genuine dreamelite 1.3.3 with 76a patch and struggling with youtube player , then here is an image with modified mytube player 100% stable .

just flash the image , no need for 76a on top as image has 76a already within

new update released , 76b , reported 100% functionality with original gemini 5.1 , also DE 1.3.3 working 100% including VPN , Latest Mytube update works 100% with 76b !!! So no patching needed anymore.
