ok quick question is it more important to get motor elevation right or dish ?

get the motor elavation correct as on dishpointer then leave it alone this will not need ajusted again, then move the dish elavation so the dish is around vertical and play with it from there.

thanks for your patience you see i went by book with motor which said set dish 30 degrees and so i then set it to near vertical with motor ,which probaly threw off arc,any way i have done it opposite way round,,thing is same as before when i use meter to find 5w atlantic bird it finds a signal, but when i connect back up to reciever nothing shows, oh before i started this i drove motor to 5w ,i just cannot find this sat...nothing in line of view
