hello mate if it is same is mine you should go to
Menu
Setup
System
Customize
First one should say Setup Mode
change setup mode to Expert
half way down it says
Show infobar on event change and should say yes next to it
just change that yes to No then press ok
You should be sorted

Muzzy thanks for the info,, I have that set to Yes, however the info bar doesnt show on event change. Also, my EPG info don't show all the times..
