Compatible wireless dongles for Dreambox DM800

To use a wireless dongle with your DM800 you need either a ?Ralink RT73′ or ?ZD1211B? chipset USB dongle, and enable the option from the ?System? menu on your box.

Below are a list of compatible wireless USB dongles:

              Chipset RT73
              Alfa AWUS036s
              AftertheMac G54SL (Rebadged CNet dongle)

              Buffalo WLI-U2-G54HP

He is tied into an 18 month contract with O2 so he wont be able to try 3 yet.

I have a 3g-6200n edimax nlite 3g broadband router but the trick is to make sure that your dongle works with the router before you leave the shop, I have mine working in my mobile home in Youghal with a dm800hd with little trouble but I stick to the non-hd channels.
