Does the current version of this work fine so?

Nice one chaps, just found an old Belkin usb wireless adapter I had laying around, plugged in the 800, entered the network password and where in buisness, no more cable running through the front room.
Works a treat !

Just a heads up , my mate had a dilemna as he couldnt hard wire his dm800 with ethernet cable .He shopped about abit and found a suitable dongle for ?6 delivered

plugged it into usb port , powered box up , entered network settings page , input details , and connected great

I bought one of the ?6 TP-Links before the posts that they were no good as v4.1's.. Sending back to Amazon tomorrow..

Just dug out a D-Link DWA-140 that i got free from VM.. any clues if this may work..??

Worth a try. Just stick it in the back and boot up. If it works the box will recognise it and will be in the network menu.

Mine is a belkin 7050 that I got off ebay for a couple of quid. Only using as a client at the moment.

Hi guys got a asus wl-167g but cant get it to work. It actualy sees it shows its connection, bit rate, quality etc in the wlan status box but noticed it says encryption unsupported?

You need to change the type of encryption on your network , within the router setup

Same image ? , would have thought the drivers are in an image , rather than a certain box type , maybe worthwhile to flash with same image as old box

the pro box has latest glitch free "rev m" tuner , usually pro box will say so on packaging
