if u have 2 boxes joined to a router then both boxes have to have a different ip to work

Yes, but it is the problem, that they both get same ip-adress?? The problem is how to solve the problem. But why has my old DM500 not any problem together with the DM800 at the same time. It works perfect.

Cant see why it wont let you set your own ip address and have DHCP set to No.
If that dont work as you say try it with just one of them and make it a high digit at end?

                  Andy.

Even when I reboot both receivers and router they still get the same ip adress with DHCP on (not off)

You cant be setting it correctly,if you are doing it right i would consider having 2 different images and see if that works but if your saving the new ip and have Dhcp set to no and you get a red X on the network test the new ip should stay the same so it sounds like your doing something wrong.
All boxes are set up like this,

                      Andy.

With Dhcp they will be assigned an ip address thats why its better to turn it off and pick your own ip.
Keep the same ip address as the router for the Dreambox but change the last digit to something high like .100
Just going round in circles leaving Dhcp on.

Strange??? Now have I change the second receiver?s Ip to 192.168.2.8 (manually) and it works on some channels. All 1w is working but not 5E, only a few on 5e and they are freezing. If I shut off reciver no 1 everything is ok on receiver no 2. I am getting gray hair of this.

That has nothing to do with your ip address if the ip address was wrong you wouldnt get any premium channels.

                              Server or a new bouquet.

It is not a dish problem or signalproblem. I have 90-100% signal. Remember that this connection works perfect with my old DM500 and the same C-line. Some TV1000 on 5e is working ok, but TV2 News will not open at all, untill I switch off receiver No1. STRANGE isn?t it.
