    swap dm800 for dm800pro

    Hey guys,

Just wondering is it worth it to sell my dm800 and buy a dm800hd?

    Reason being :

The dm800 i currently got works smooth, no issues at all apart from glitching which is solved using a in line amp.

The current dm has: Bootloader 72, and REV L tuner. Got a spare REV J too, seller sent me both to see what worked best for me

Anyways the issue is, when using the inline amp asian channels seem to be affected for me, possibly due to my odd sat dish location which does seem to require a decent quality sat receiver/tuner.

So well do you rekon the dm800pro will solve this for me with a stronger tuner?

Also what price can i expect for the dm800 i currently have? Not to sure what the 2nd hand prices are like. Its about 6 months old i would say.

    Am open to offers really

    With Best Wishes

It's exactly the same clone but has the M revision tuner..

Don't get it confused with the GENUINE upgrade of the DM800 to the DM800SE @ ?429

Wouldnt it be cheaper to purchase the rev M tuner?

probably would be mate, i was told there is a difference in the Motherboard as well as apperently the rev M tuner is not compatible with Bootloader 72.

Not sure how far this is true to be honest?

dont have a clue there myself im just about to purchase a dm800hd clone but ive noticed other posts and threads on here about changing the tuner.

If you do decide to sell the 800 send me a PM on what your looking for it and more about it as i dont know to much on that version, but im not interested in HD the now. My plan right now is get a 800 then after maybe 6 months move up to the 8000.

Well mate, there's not much to it.

            Its about 6 months old
Rev J tuner it came with ... i changed it to Rev L ... noticed improvement
            Bootloader 72 version

The only channel it gives me trouble on are:
            Sky Sports 1 HD
            Disney Cinemagic HD
            ESPN HD

In line amp variable fixes this --- but messes up a couple of asian channels i watch so not a good solution for me...

Feel free to pm me your price and ill reply
If you don't watch asian stuff then it'll do the job 4 u with a in line amp variable...

Anything you wish to know let me know...

I might give the Rev M tuner a go in the mean time if i don't sell it quickly enough hehe am going away from Jan 15 so need to get it all sorted prior then

cool mate well i've added you to my contacts so will think it over and be in touch.

              Is it capable of HD?

The channels you are saying it has trouble with wouldnt be of any concern to me and I dont watch any of the Asian channels so that wouldnt be a problem for me.

you'd be best off paying the little bit extra and buying it from ukdreamshop, as i know he personally tests every box he sells and his customer services are second to none.

p.s he's a moderator on B16MCC'S forum so why not drop him a pm see if he can do you a deal ?
