HI Nick ready when you are and some of my questions might seem simple but i need to know all of your settings are correct so please dont take offence when i ask them

first go to tuner config then ok
you should see tuner a:alps bsbes(dvb-s2) advanced then ok
now config mode andvanced and put satellite on 28.2 and makesure long/lat are correct ie 002.500 west/053.400 north and usals yes basically follow the instructions i gave on early post please
then go back upto where it says satellite and press ok
you shoud now be back at tuner a page

now press exit on remote and you should be back to service searching screen.
go to manual scan press ok

network scan-yes
clear before scan-no
only free scan-no
then press ok
i will do same so let me know when you press ok to start scan and we should scan at the same time so i can tell you what mine says when its scanning

I have pressed scan but it comes up after a bit with scan done! 0 services found!

right go back to service settings then satfinder set it to 28.2 and let me know what it says please. ie
