      Hi my friend.
TM 6800 is better than Tm5400.It has Ethernet for internet.
Tm 6900 combo is same as Tm6800,but it has Freeview tunner.
      See this www.technomate.co.uk
      See you! Good luck

                5300d+super usb

                Hi Guys,

I have lost all my free to air channels, itv, c4 etc. I am using astra 2d on 28.2 East. I can get most other stuff, cbs action, reality, bbc news, sky news etc.

I have tried to download the patch on this thread but I keep getting a blank screen.

Is this the latest patch and do I need a soft cam as well.

                Thanks guys

If you have lost fta channels, either your dish is misalligned or your lnb needs replacing.
But first check f connectors are ok on lnb end and stb end.

Tried that, even changed the LNB to see if that made a difference. Dish is lined up correctly as can receive everything except itv, c4,c5 etc, these channels come up with the error scrambled channel

the uk freesat channels broadcast from these transponders,

                      10.714.h.22000.5/6
                      10.729.v.22000.5/6

                      10.788.v.22000.5/6
                      10.803.h.22000.5/6
                      10.818.v.22000.5/6
                      10.832.h.22000.5/6
                      10.847.v.22000.5/6
                      10.891.h.22000.5/6
                      10.906.v.22000.5/6

the channels on freesat are fta and the itv/c4/c5 channels you are receiving are the seperate n*s encrypted versions which are part of the bskyb package. if your system is working fine as you say then try a manual txp scan of these txp,s searching for "free-to-air" channels only. regards mdt

Hi not sure if you already know but if your just getting cbs, bbc news etc as mentioned your receiving only the transponders on the wider astra beams (2a and 2b) You are not getting the tightly focussed uk 2d beam which would be harder to align your dish to.
I am in slovakia and have given up on trying to get 2d even with my 2.4 meter dish. If you got 2d reception before then its prob your dish alignment. the itv c4 & c5 scrambled channels your getting are not on 2d and require a freesat from sky card (?20.00 + valid uk address )

Thanks for the reply, I already have the ?20 card and all was working well, so you may well be right I will have to get someone out to realign the dish

you can get all the FTA channels including itv,ch4 and five without any card in the 5300d.you only need the ?20 card in a sky box and even then you can use the "add channels" menu to receive them.

                                Thanks dick d,

I have tried to scan every thing and still get the scrambled channel message. Any tips you may have would be great, bear in mind that I live in Bulgaria and am using astra 2 d
