phoned TM and described problem ,they think it could be a hardware problem and i could send it to them for testing or take it to an engineer they recommend ,thanks for the replies

Hi. Make sure you ask TM how much they may charge you. By the way did you try to do a blind search? Regards.

havn`t sent box to TM yet as they couldn`t give price until they know fault,was trying a few more changes with no joy but when i turned on motor set up which i didn`t use before, i tried to move dish, receiver turned itself off each time i tried,would this indicate anything?

Factory reset, then load official TM sw from their site.
