softcam not working?

Hi. I tried the MUTE/EXIT option on my TM5400 SUPER but did not work thats why i suggested using the menu options. Maybe it works for different models. Regards.

Strange I have the same model and it works ok and can confirm it works on tm1500/5200/5300/6800.

Technomate52 did you try any other patch yet
this patch is confirmed to work on canaal digitaal nl with latest softcam
no point trying patches before this one because they don't open anything anymore

Yes your right replaced it with the one i did want to post .
It's very hard to find any info on your model what's open or not
and i looked on a good few forums at this stage try this one and see what it does for you, still find it strange that patch 187 is not opening anything for you try 185 and 184 and see if they open anything for you with latest softcam ,if not you can always try the cas menu then but that needs a bit of playing around with

Hi TECHNOMATE52 - Can you tell us what patch if any you currently have in your box because i think we are going round and round without getting anywhere. From my experience if you try to load an incorrect patch for your model you should get a INVALID FIRMWARE message. If you have message 'memory error' it could mean your receiver is full or you may have an internal problem. Try to delete channels including radio channels and see if it gives you same message. Like i said if you go into the CAS menu and look under S/W it tells you the patch id ie 152p and date it was loaded. Also do you have a fixed dish or motorized one.? Maybe we sent the dish to HOTBIRD and try some keys there. Regards.

Hi. I think the latest patch for your model is 185 which opens BULSAT AUSTRIASAT ORF but not CANAAL DIGITAL from what i remember. Like thijs said best think is to try and open any channel to see if your receiver works. You can always upgrade to a later patch after. This is why, if we can , go to HOTBIRD and try some SECA keys in CAS menu. Regards

Hi. If you get ANIMAX then the patch IS working. ANIMAX works with the AUSTRIASAT (D05) keys. You should be getting the following frequencies working as well on ASTRA 19 east - 12341H s/r 27500( ANIMAX, HUSTLER TV etc) , 10921H s/r 22000, 12049V s/r 27500, 12691H s/r 22000). Check out these frequencies for now as they should work if ANIMAX is working. Regards.

Animax is open but the frequencies 11.788 v 27.500 dont work it s very weird this is really annoying

delete the whole sat's channels and rescan with blindscan just to make sure all channels are refreshed and uptodate
