today the dish wont seem to move further east than 28 it will go to 19 e not tried any others,when i switched on yesterday i had transparent menu whilst at 28e with quality and signal in middle of screen and thats never happend before,the menu is set to disec not usals so been moving the dish east and west to get lined up but not going to 39e today.

with the dish not moving past 28e i thought that somehow the east limit had been re-set so i went into the motor control menu pressed ok on delete limit and the dish moved further east again and i'm back to 39e but does this mean my east and west limits are not set?Comment

Yes it does, your motor would probably have hardware limits inside but if you are wary about how far your dish travels and do not want to set the limits again why not edit your channel list so you last sat is 39? est and the same for your most westerly satellite.
Or you could just set the limits again.
