Questions Re: Technomate T-5200D USB

Greetings to all,

I am knew here and wanted some points explained after reading forum posts. I have a Technomate TM-5200D USB receiver.

I am confused as to what steps i need to take to get more channels i.e decrypt them.

• Is there a universal patch or a patch for each Chanel
• do I use a usb to install this patch or some other type of cable via a computer
• do I need to do any thing with receiver b4 I upload the patch (eg install a piece of software)
• How do i get the right patch and are the patches time specific i.e they expire

I would be grateful for all help in clarifying these points and adding any thing i may have overlooked.

All you need to do is download and unzip this file on your pc. 5300D_5200D_SUPER_130p_20090810.zip

Copy the unzipped file to a USB stick and insert it into the USB port on the back of your sat box. Press the GREEN button on the remote and select Data Transfer. Enter the pin (default is 0000). Select the patch from the list and hit OK. This will install the patch for you. Next go Installation menu, followed by Options and then make sure DIGITV AU is set to ON. Save and exit.

You should now be able to watch all the Digi TV channels on Thor 0.8W plus a handful of channels on Sirius 4.8E.

Sadly these are the only channels you will be able to unscramble.

if you look in the technomate section you wiill find
the latest patches i posted on the 10/8/09 you
must make sure you use the patch for your model only
the are patches for the super and non super models and
you can only use the patch for your model,
the one patch opens all available chns that are open with the patch
you dont need to do anything before patching, you need either a
memory stick or a null modem cable to load the patch and when needed the tm softcam key files. [the easiest way to patch is with the memory stick]
if you dont know how to patch your receiver look at the top of the section at the posts in red for tutorials on patching

there is'nt much open on astra 19e and hotbird 13e
with the patch as stated most is open on thor 1w
and patching wont help

you wont open much if anything on those sats thor@ 1West has the most on it.it is of course up to you if you patch but its easy enough if you follow instructions in the "stickies"and if you can run to it why not stick amotor on your dish and providing you have a clear view to the southern sky you can get a lot more sats.

My friend gave me this contraption as he didn't want it. If I download the patch, will I be able to watch Nova Sport and Sportclub etc?

for the best info post which tm receiver model you have
but at this time the patch does'nt open very
much on hotbird 13e and if it has a card reader
and a cam slot you can use a gamma card for the nova chns
the patch opens most channels on thor 1w satellite

Hi thanks for replying, ive got TM-5200D M2 USB receiver.
Most of the channels do not work for some reason, i believe i have tried installing one of the patches ive found on this forum, however it didnt make any difference.

I was wondering if you could help me by providing some specific links and instructions.

Forgot to mention most of the channels i am trying to get to work is ukrain/russian/german (Ive had a reciever before which have been installed by my friend and all them channels worked, however that reciever broke and with this new one i dont even pick most of the channels e.g. 1TV channel-russian. RTR etc.)

If you could help me, i would really appriciate it.
