    technomate tm-600 linux - viaccess

    Hi,

I've just got a new Technomate tm-600 linux box and booted onto the default factory installed enigma image. I've inserted my valid subscription card for a southasian channel encrypted in Viaccess, but the card reader does not read saying it can't unscramble the channel. Do I need to install any plugins to get it working on Enigma or do I have to flash any other images- if so which one would be able to read Viaaccess.
I was hoping the would read the card straight out of the box. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thx

What card is it? CCCam chould read it. BUT-you will need to flash the UR image on first to be able to download CCCam from the download server, then install it and away you go.

Read the Rules here; they apply to Everyone.

The card is a valid subcription viaccess - Asianet (south asian channel available on both Horbird 13 & eurobird 9) I've installed the latest UR image - 14/10/09 & CCcam(do I need to change the default settings?) , but still no success. Any suggestions please?

        Hi,

I've installed the latest UR image (TM600-UR-11-10-09.rar) on my TM600 and loaded CCcam v2.1.2. When I reboot the TM600 it looks like CCcam isn't running automatically. I need to telnet into the TM600 and run CCcam from the command line at the prompt, like this:

        [UR Team /> CCcam

or to run in debug mode use CCcam -dv

It is possible that I haven't set it up correctly yet, but it is hard finding info about the TM600.

I haven't got any cards, but I'd be interested in seeing how easy (or not) it is to get a card working with the TM600.

I'm still pointing at 28.2E but it looks like there may be some better stuff on 13.0E which needs a card. (Until I get motorised)

            just flashed the latest image:
TM600-UR-10-14-2009.img and rebooted, CCcam didn't start automatically. Had to start it from command line after telnet in to the TM600.

Is CCcam supposed to start automatically on reboot?

The TM600 now responds to the 'blue' button and gives me a UR Panel, so I am now looking at that.

I am using tm500/cccam for asianet .also cccam is starting automatically but every month 31st or 1st I have to take the card out and stick it into official viaccess box to get the validity update.
