I dont mean to hijack this thread I am a dreambox user myself but I am looking
for a receiver that can open conax on 1w. Does the technomate need a cam
and programmer or will softcam and keys do the the job with these receivers

I'm using the technomate 5400 with the latest softcam and conax on 1w seems to be encrypted. Not sure about the the cam and programmer though.

can u access codes manually into technomate?

hi i am newbie and considering getting technomate 6900 super. 2 questions. are you able to add codes manually into the technomate patched and not via usb so u can watch scarambled channels on thor for example?

with the ethernet can u get the proposed iplayer on freesat aimed later tihis year?

Hi m8, have a TM6900 combo super myself, answer to your first question yes keys can be entered manualy. Afraid i cannot answer the second though

You will not open Conax on 1w with diablo or patch.

Only with valid sub.

does anyone know how to open conax channels, I have a TM5400+ super, cas 3 and a dragon card. Thanks in advance!!

To open Conax you will need an official card, ie Digitalb sub card.

Does not open on Cas3 anymore since upgrade in encryption.
