Technomate Softcam Updates

hiya,
i recently came back from holiday to find that my satelite doesnt work anymore, the quality level has dropped to 22%, all my free to air chanels have gone aswell, im not so clued up on this so does anyone know what the problem is?
help pls

Not really a softcam issue I think
I had the same problem then found our local window cleaner may have moved the dish /bumped into it

Afraid to say that neither of the new keys are working for me
Any ideas or has digi switched to N3 as well as new keys?

I think the keys have just changed since I put the last ones in a short while ago (it was working then)

There are 2 posts from fearona above and the new updated one is working fine, I don't know how I managed it, but I did not realise that the updated file had been posted till a couple of minutes ago, time to see an optician methinks

What is the softcam file used for and how is it transferred to the receiver. ?

Transfer is by rs232 cable or usb if you have a usb version Technomate. Softcam opens mainly digi tv package on 1 west. Latest patch will need loading prior to loading softcam if there is not already a patch on your receiver. There are stickies at top of Technomate section explaining the procedures.

hi ferona - you've been a help to me in the past - got a tm6900 combo and motorized dish - trying to plan ahead.
All I want is sport especially SPL and EPL.

With the thor channels scrambling should I

get an original sub eg ART?

get a fancy box (DM / IP etc but reading the stickies this might be a bit above my tecky level)?

Buy a programmable CAM for my TM?

or give up and go Sly (but will miss the saturday footie)?

just got a new technomate 5400 super and have downloaded patch and the latest softcam key but everything is still locked any ideas or am I just being stupid and missing something basic out any ideas would be be appreciated.
