The null modem cable arrived; used the darkman loader etc, loaded the patch then the softcam, still nothing!!

Maybe it's the box. Should I wait until New Year and send the bugger back?

I don't know what else to do.

turn on press menu and go to system information>ok
and on the second line down s/w does it show the
patch loaded? if yes exit and go back in the receiver
menu and go to options>ok and make sure the A/U for
digi-tv is set to off. if you hav'nt done it already

first off did you make sure that the patch and softcam are unzipped? also did you put reciever into standby before u uploaded from pc.

right m8 a lot of people on these forums keep saying to make sure DIDI TV AU IS OFF from the time i have had my technomate and done softcams and patch i have always left it on never ever had a problem loading cams you may have a duff box but i doubt it.rest your box back to facory default and start afresh then do it the way i suggested in previous thread.good luck this time and merry xmas

right m8 a lot of people on these forums keep saying to make sure DIDI TV AU IS OFF from the time i have had my technomate and done softcams and patch i have always left it on never ever had a problem loading cams you may have a duff box but i doubt it.rest your box back to facory default and start afresh then do it the way i suggested in previous thread.good luck this time and merry xmas

If you ahve a patch loaded which had Digi tv auto update on it the option needs turning off as it inserts incorrect keys.

hi also having problems. Ive updated keys before and thought it was straight forward but when i went to do it recently via usb the keys arent there when i put in usb. I unzip files as usual but they just dont seem to be there. Anyone have same problems or any ideas?

For keys to show via usb receiver must be patched and the patch must be turned on.

hi guys, just trying to get my head around all this... feel like a complete loser as i don t have a clue where to start, was recommended to buy a tm 5400 usb as am wanting to watch the footy. any help greatly appreciated

I"d start by reading the "stickies" above the normal threads then ask any specific questions and some one will help.to get the most out of any box you need to motorise it.
