Please help no H polarization

Hi,sorry if question silly, I have found out that my receiver doesnt get any signal quality (0%) on Horizontal polarization but good signal on the Vertical (about 94%).....what could be?Just my nipper playing football with my dish?

no horizontal

check the lnb settings in the menu,s to make sure its not set to vertical. i think it should be h/v or auto also check your f-connector and make sure there are no new kinks or damage to the cable. if everything indoors checks out then its either the cable or lnb outside . just try to eliminate each possible fault until you find it.

Lnb knackered if only getting one polarity.

Thanks for the help, cables are new(less than a year old) my lnb is a quad and I think it might be the problem. I will change it....many thanks
