You may aswell take out the premiere xxx channels as they are gone and galaxie sport is now called nova sport [galaxie].

any idea's on lastability ect are they easy to use are there many benefits to using keys because i dont think it opens many more than the latest keys open apart from digi alb

also would premiere be viewable because this is changing round about now

Ive got a panasonic TH-46PZ81B plazma tele that has a cam interface slot could I use the above cam in my tele ? Maybe a dumb question but i know sod all about sat tv its just that I may get the best out of it as ive got it hooked to a sat dish with quad LMB but just using one for freesat at the minute.

yes mate it will work so long as the cam slot is for sat not freeview.
is your tv freesat of freeview? freesat mens it should work but the tv itself wont be able to be used with a motor so you could only use a fixed dish

Thanks Sadiq999uk my tv has a sat tuner in for the freesat plus this cam interface slot Ive allso got a dreambox 600/cable hooked upto the tv.
the dish I have fitted is a fixed 90cm sky dish i think with a quad LNB Would I loose out with a fixed dish channel wise with the above cam and would it be worth it or would I be best to get a Technomate reciever ? sorry to sound dumb but Im new to sat stuff.

You will need a motorized dish if you want to clear the channels mentioned above as they are on different satellites m8 ! your s*y dish is fixed to 28.2 east and is way to small for some of the other satellites,.

As far as the receiver goes you wont go far wrong with a technomate they are very easy to set up and very well supported (Just bear in mind the patched technomate will clear Most of the channels mentioned without the cam) and you may consider going for the technomate 6800 for Hd if you want to take full advantage of your new set-up.

No. The patch is no way as good as the cam. You cant open digitalb,canal1w and many more.
Currently the patch only opens digitv,polsat,rai,showtime,viasat

Thanks guys for your great input 'after christmas Im going to invest in a motorised bigger dish a technomate and the above cam.
Would my quad lnb be ok and what size dish would I want and were is the best place to by these.

Ive seen a few patched Technomate's on ebay but not sure if there are any clones like there is with dreamboxes ?.
And what type of motor would be the best I think i'm right in that the DiSEqC controls the dishes position but would I need a power cable from the Technomate to the dish or a seperate power lead.

I'm sorry for all these questions as i said I know sod all about this type of setup and can anyone show me any links where I could learn about this type of setup.
