i think he means patching if you do a bit more reading of the threads you will find all the info you need for the tm5402
Patch in Download center and latest softcam here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...1/#post1240045 and that will get you most of the canaal digitaal nl on astra 19.2 and if you want to use cs for c/n lines
you will need latest addon Download center for the secret menu press "8281" while watching a channel

Hi, i have recently got a tm-5402hd and all is well. I have come from an openbox s9 hd which died! I have managed to set everything up fairly easily with info from this site (thanks alot).
However i have 1 question. I leave it on the EPG DATA UPDATE channel and it populates the epg, but when i turn the box off this is lost, is there any way to save the epg data to the usb drive connected to the box?

I have a Technomate TM-5402HD CI+.
Heard to say about ADDON can be installed to watch channels streamed over the Internet.
Could someone help me know where I can find Pacht third party to install in this decoder.
A person here in London charge to install a service where the decoder is able to get online channels and every 6 months has to be renewed.
I would to know what kind of addon or software is installed to unlock this option in decoder?

you can't watch brazilian channels streamed with a tm5402 if you get a very big dish aimed at brazilian sattelite and a cardshare over the internet
maybe you can watch them then depending on where you are located
and patches would be found here Technomate software online
and you will need to load latest add on too then you will have to find a server

does not take any longer manic is a spiderbox user now does not use his technomate box anymore i'm sure spiderbox is a good box for its money,but we are technomate users here

Spiderbox is excellent, I have many receivers inc TM5402/5400/600/1500/5302 eagle mini/800 spiderbox 9000 openbox s9/10/11 etc
Just because i comment on 1 receiver does not mean i have cast aside another

Hi folks i am a nubster here i have this box and am wondering does the size of a usb matter besides backing up my channel list what else would i need it for? And would a 500gb external hd be big enough to record? any perticular brand names i should use that work best with this box? thanks
