I have used anything from 1gb to 64gb stick all ok various manufacturers as well.

I'll have to agree with manic on that one. I have used usb stick, mains powered external hdd, usb powered hdd, old internal ide drive in a caddy, all various sizes and manufacturers with no problem at all as a rough size guide go for approx 8gb for between an hour and 90 mins of hd recording.

I've just gone back to 117 from 120 to see if it stops my epg issues. It may not have been the problem but only time will tell.

The problem I was having is that when I was putting on a new channel list where some channel numbers had changed I was getting duplicate listings, the channels were correct but the epg was wrong until channel was selected almost making it now and next on movies and sport mainly. By reinstalling the patch everything was ok so I am just trying different patches to see it makes any difference next time channels are added or removed

Guys im ~~~~ed so i installed the tm firmware and phantom patch(117 for both) done everything by the book ie back up channels fac reset load firmware etc then i loaded channel list but all my itv,bbc channels signals were very weak and i couldnt get them yet i could get dubai sports and the rest so now im here done a fac reset tried to upload channel list but it dont work and i have scanned 28.2 e and get all mad arab channels but no itv,etc what am i doing wrong?

Yep dopey old me i never changed the lat/long it was set for london now i have fixed it to my location its all a learning curve =) thanks mate

Its always set to london by default for TM boxes I think.
